Filmed in May 2026, this 90-second video explores movement and life in Morocco’s capital city through skateboarding, set to the sounds of Gnawa and Afro-jazz artist Majid Bekkas, who was born in Salé, Morocco, just across the Bou Regreg, which is visible in the background of certian shots.
Filmed in May and June, 2025, this video highlights two up-and-coming Moroccan skateboarders, Farouk and Amine, cruising through the iconic marble garden in Rabat city center, colloquially referred to a Medina Spot or simply The Spot. This shady refuge in the heart of the city has notoriously become a site where a range of social taboo play out in the open, including fights, drug use, openly-gay couples, and above all, skateboarding.
Filmed in August 2023, this video was created to commemorate the last summer a group of neighborhood friends would be together before separating for university. Shot on a broken Sony VX2000, it's unpolished at best, but holds a strong sentimental value, representing a quintessential ethos of growing up in Minneapolis.
